The play examines the soul-less inhabitants of a world dominated by gamblers, thieves and women of the night. Borrowing from the mythic tales of dealing with the devil, the play follows what takes place when the purchaser of lost souls comes to collect.
Principal characters are the Tony-nominated Anthony Chisholm and featured OBIE award-winner Edwin Lee Gibson. Also cast are members of the Congo Square Theatre ensemble: TeRon Patton, Liza Cruzat and Keir Thirus.
Playwright Brian Tucker is a graduate of Thornwood High School located in south suburban South Holland. He was the youngest to graduate from The Julliard School’s Playwrights Program where he was a Lila Acheson Wallace American Playwright Fellow. Highly prized, Tucker also received commissions from the Chicago Humanities Festival, Theatergoers USA, the Art Institute of Chicago and the New York Council for the Humanities.
