Critics of veteran journalist Gwen Ifill, who served as the moderator for the only vice presidential debates this election season, said she would not be objective during the debate because she is writing a book that includes material on Sen. Barack Obama. But the National Association of Black Journalists praised Ifill’s work as moderator of the Oct. 3 debate.
