CHICAGO (AP) — A gunman firing from a car has shot and wounded four people standing outside at a strip mall in Chicago.
Police say a man, two women and a 16-year-old girl were wounded in the shooting, which took place around 10:40 p.m. Monday night in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.
The teen was struck in the leg and hospitalized. Two of the other victims were also taken to hospitals. The fourth person, an 18-year-old woman with a graze wound to the abdomen, declined medical attention.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that none of their injuries was life-threatening.
