The owner of one of the most famous mugshots in American history has finally been freed from prison after a nearly two-year bid.

Jeremy Meeks, 30, was arrested in 2014 in Stockton County, Calif. for weapons charges, and his mugshot featuring blazing blue eyes and chiseled features induced lusty feelings in millions of women worldwide and becoming an overnight Internet sensation.

Meeks popularity was so mammoth that he was eventually discovered by and signed to White Cross Management modeling agency. Now that he has served his time, the married father said he did everything to remain in optimum health in order to not squelch this golden opportunity. “I eat healthy. I do a lot of push-ups, pull-ups, dips, burpees, and I stay very active,” he said.

“I want to thank my family and everybody for all your love, support and prayers. I’m overwhelmed and grateful for what lies ahead. I’m ready,” he recently wrote on Instagram.

He is already giving interviews and is looking forward to a new life. “I’m in a place where I will be able to provide for my family and really change my life. I never thought that everyone in the world would recognize me for my looks, so I feel extremely blessed and very thankful,” he said.

He’s also thankful for those who supported him that he may never meet: “I’ve got a lot of support my family, my friends, and from my fans — I get hundreds and hundreds of letters every month. I’m very thankful for all the support I’ve been getting,” he said.
