O’FALLON, Ill. — Separate services are planned for a southwestern Illinois woman who was killed by her husband and for her husband who was fatally shot by police. Illinois State Police say officers dispatched to a reported burglary in O’Fallon on April 27 killed 44-year-old James Jenkins when he met them at the door and reportedly refused to drop his weapon. Officers found the body of 40-year-old Adrinne Jenkins inside the home. St. Clair County court records show that Adrinne Jenkins filed for divorce in March for the third time since 1992 and that the couple had been living separately since mid-2006. Services for James Jenkins were scheduled Monday in Belleville. Adrinne Jenkins’ funeral will be at noon Tuesday at Gateway Area Bible Fellowship Church in East St. Louis. ______ Copyright 2009 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
