Former NFL player Antonio Armstrong and his wife were shot and killed in their Texas home by their teenage son, according to police.
The Armstrongs were found deceased in their bedroom of their home after the son reportedly called 911 himself to report the shooting.
The son, 16, has been charged with murder. He will be tried as an adult.
Antonio Armstrong, who played for Texas A&M, briefly played with the Dolphins in the 90s, and now owns a series of popular gyms in Texas. He’s reportedly in critical condition.
Extended family members have said there were no signs of trouble in the household before the deadly incident. The Armstrongs’ daughter was home at the time of the shooting, but was not injured.
