A former suburban Chicago executive has pleaded not guilty to charges of participating in a $17 million bank fraud scheme. Kevin M. Gore allegedly swindled Fifth Third Bank between 2005 and late 2007 by fraudulently obtaining funds through a revolving line of credit. At the time, he was chief operating officer of Computer World Solution Inc. in Wheeling. Federal officials say the 40-year-old Gore was a fugitive before being arrested in the Philippines earlier this year and returned to Chicago. Gore’s co-defendant, former Northbrook resident Noel Yuan, pleaded guilty to two counts of bank fraud in December and is awaiting sentencing. Gore entered his plea on Wednesday and is being held without bond. His jury trial date has been set for Oct. 19. ______ Copyright 2009 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
