Five people, including a 17-year-old who was grazed on the forehead, in a drive-by shooting Thursday in the Roseland neighborhood. Police said three women and two men were sitting on a porch in the first block of East 107th Street shortly after 9 p.m. when a white vehicle pulled up and an occupant let out a spray of bullets. A 20-year-old woman shot in the knee is listed in critical condition at Stroger Hospital; a 19-year-old woman was shot in the arm and taken to Roseland Community Hospital in good condition; a 19-year-old woman wounded in the leg is listed in good condition at Advocate Christ Hospital; a 21-year-old man is in stable condition at Advocate Trinity Hospital with gunshot wounds to the hand and shoulder and the male teen is in good condition at Stroger Hospital. The shooting may be gang-related, police said. No one is in custody. The previous night — 11 blocks south — three people were shot during a drive-by while they sat on a porch in the 11800 block of South Lafayette Avenue in the Pullman neighborhood. ______ Copyright 2008 Chicago Defender.
