Fitzgerald to be laid to rest

Restaurant proprietor Sally Fitzgerald will be eulogized March 2 at Praise Tabernacle, 9511 S. Commercial Ave. at 7 p.m. She died Feb. 23 of liver cancer. She was 78, her son Larry Fitzgerald Sr. said.

Fitzgerald owned the well-known South Side rib joint Fitzee’s Barbeque and was a “legendary cook” restaurant business for 40 years.

She is the grandmother of the Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald Jr.
