DALLAS — The high school coach who was fired after his girls basketball team won a game 100-0 feels no need to apologize because he "did everything the right way." Micah Grimes, fired just days after The Covenant School of Dallas made national headlines with the staggering victory over Dallas Academy in January, told ESPN in his first televised interview that he took "precautions" when he realized the inferiority of the opponent. But he denied running up the score and says he shouldn’t apologize for something "we knew we did not do." The interview is to be aired Sunday on the program "Outside the Lines." ______ Copyright 2009 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
