On Monday March 8th, Open Television (OTV) kicked off Women’s History Month with an amazing virtual event “Filmmaking While Femme.” The roundtable was moderated by Sarah Minnie (OTV) with guest panelist Ashley O’Shay ( Unapologetic Film ), Elena Valentine (Mezcla Media Collective, Skill Scout) and Stephanie Jeter ( OTV Studio ). Along with the virtual roundtable available on OTV, OTV will be highlighting selected artists to be spotlighted across OTV’s social media platforms throughout the month. Each artist will be sharing filmmaking while femme tips , these tips can include but are not limited to
sharing resources that helped them on their journey, production or writing tips that they would like to share or general information that they would impart on an emerging woman and femme-identified filmmaker. The tips will be shared across OTV’s Instagram , Twitter , and Facebook pages.
