(Chicago, IL) Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx will join Over 100 Clergymen who will gather to publicly endorse her campaign for re-election to a second term of office.
“Kim Foxx is bringing the reform we’ve been begging for. She has now built the trust that has been lost in the State’s Attorney’s office. We must make sure that she’s re-elected so that she can continue this path to reform” says Father Michael Pfleger.
Clergymen throughout the Chicago Metropolitan area will publicly detail their rationale for this endorsement as well as promote their strategy to assist State’s Attorney Foxx’s campaign.
Bishop Larry Trotter adds, “Kim is the right fit with the right heart for the office of State’s Attorney. In the last three years Kim has worked to exonerate wrongful convictions of 80 individuals. That’s the type of compassion that the voters of Cook County expect in our States Attorney.”
State’s Attorney Foxx has worked to enact bail reform that has stop the overcrowding of the jails. But she has carefully prioritized the detainment of those individuals who pose a threat to our communities” says Pastor Ira Acree.
