EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill.    The family of a Missouri man found dead in Illinois hopes increasing the reward to $7,000 helps crack the case. The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis has disbanded after spending days investigating the death of 37-year-old Andrew Bethman of St. Charles County, Missouri. Bethman’s body was found more than a week ago near an East St. Louis church. He’d been reported missing late last month. Investigators still are looking for Bethman’s 1999 two-door, brown Chevrolet Blazer and the $2,500 worth of stereo equipment he had installed in it. Authorities haven’t revealed how Bethman died. ___ Information from: Belleville News-Democrat, https://www.bnd.com Copyright 2008 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
