Tangela Feemster Enyia is Director of External Affairs at ComEd, a unit of Chicago-based Exelon Corporation providing to service to approximately 4 million customers across northern Illinois. Tangela and her team are ComEd’s front-line liaisons to local government entities across the Chicago-Maywood Region, which covers the City of Chicago and 28 suburbs.
An active volunteer with several organizations across Chicago, Tangela and her family have spent time in service at the Pacific Garden Mission, The Chicago Food Depository, and Project H.O.O.D. She formerly served on The Harris Council, an alumni board of The University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and currently serves on the board of the Chicago Loop Alliance and the Association House of Chicago.
Tangela holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Southern Methodist University and a master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago. Born in Arkansas and raised outside of Dallas, Texas, Tangela is a true Southerner who is proud to call Chicago home.
