Mike McCreary received his bachelor and master degrees from Depaul and Lewis Universities respectively. He began his career at Sims Metal Management, where he remained for 26 years as a Senior Trader overseeing purchases, sales, and operations for their Chicago location. In 2016, Mike took his talents to ELG Metals, Inc. In 2019, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations for America and Canada where he managed 8 locations.
Mike is currently the Chief Operating Officer at ELG Metals, Inc. where he not only overseeing territories in America and Canada, but also focuses on developing relationship with their Europe, Australia, Spain, and Asia locations. Mike sits on the Board of Directors for the company as well.
Mike believes that he was placed on this earth to motivate, educate, inspire, and mentor our youth to be successful in whatever career path they choose to explore. He is a member of the Theta Mu Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc, the Chicago Assembly and is a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo
Mike resides in the southern suburbs with his wife of 27 years, Tashra and their 2 sons, Elijah and Ethan.
