Rev. Jasper Paul Taylor I is a minister, visionary, gifted singer, songwriter, and lifelong student.
He is Executive Pastor of St. Paul and Greater Mt. Pleasant MBC of Chicago, Il. He is Executive Director of the Calahan Foundation NFP, which provides college scholarships, college mentoring, and community outreach. Since 2018, under his leadership, nearly $100,000 in college scholarships has been awarded.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership degree from Olivet Nazarene University and a Master of Divinity degree from Northern Theological Seminary. Jasper is slated to earn a Degree in Mortuary Science from Worsham College in September 2022.
Jasper serves as Third Vice-Moderator for the Christian Unity Baptist District Association and the Youth and Children’s Director for the Illinois National Baptist State Convention. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated.
Jasper is married to Valerie Calahan-Taylor. They have a brilliant son, Jasper Paul Taylor II. The couple is committed to inspiring hope and changing lives through their service to God and the community.
