U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin says health care reform is necessary in the United States. Durbin spoke about health care reform efforts Sunday at Chicago’s Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The Democratic senator says bipartisan support of health care reform is needed. Durbin says U.S. health care currently is too expensive. He also says the nation’s health insurance system can be unstable. Dr. Javette Orgain is president of the Illinois Academy of Family Physicians.
