Dr. Pamela Blackman

Ms. Pamela Joy Blackman is a prominent Chicago businesswoman and Governor of philanthropy. Born and raised on the Southside of Chicago, Ms. Blackman has dedicated over 25 years of servitude to education, health, family, and youth services. Ms. Blackman, esteeming the importance of education, earned two master’s degrees. The first master’s degree is in Psychology from Valparaiso University, and her second is in social work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Ms. Blackman received an honorary doctorate of humanitarianism from Global International Alliance University. Ms. Blackman is undertaking her doctorate in DHS Leadership Organizational Management at Capella University. Ms. Blackman is the CEO of Joy Entertainment & Event Management, a for-profit corporation where she consults and manages entertainers and athletes. Ms. Blackman is also the CEO of Building Brighter Futures Center for The Arts (BBF), a not-for-profit organization founded on the principles of artistic endeavors. She institutes her passion for guiding and building any organization’s economic and community social status.

When Ms. Blackman isn’t working vivaciously at BBF and Joy Entertainment & Event Management, she finds astronomical amounts of time serving communities through humanitarian efforts with her own not for-profit organizations such as Random Acts of Kindness and The Blackman Reese Rose Foundation.
