Dr. Marlyn D. Hirsch DNP, a healthcare professional with over 30 years of experience, is a distinguished figure in the field. Her diverse career encompasses roles in Long-term Care, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Primary care, Academia, and Telehealth Medicine. Holding a Full Practice Authority license and a Doctoral degree in Nurse Practitioner from Governors State University, Dr. Hirsch combines academic prowess with a commitment to patient care. A retired Air Force Reservist Major, she served as the Assistant Chief Nurse and support for the Gulf War. As a University Lecturer at Governors State University, she shapes the next generation of healthcare professionals. Simultaneously, she operates Hirsch Advance Practice Providers offering weight management solutions and primary care services. Driven by a passion for community service, she organizes Health Fairs, Back to School Drives, and volunteers school physicals for underserved children. Active in National Healthcare Organizations like Democratic Women of Southland Region, Sigma Theta Tau, American Nursing Association, Illinois Obesity Society, American Nurse Practitioner Association, and American Association Post Acute Care Network.  Dr. Hirsch contributes to shaping healthcare policies.
