On July 13, , ‘”lack Girls Cheer,” a landmark documentary produced by Double Good, made its Chicago debut in front of a packed house at the Ida Noyes Hall at the University of Chicago. Hundreds gathered to enjoy a red-carpet experience and view the documentary which follows the creation of an organization that gives voice and visibility to cheerleaders of color. The event was co-hosted by Double Good and local Chicago All Star Cheer gym, the Technique Gems.
Tim Heitmann, founder and CEO of Double Good Popcorn, Dr. Sharita Richardson, founder of Black Girls Cheer, and Daquan Thompson, founder of Dynasty Spirit Elite All-Star Cheerleading and Dance, were in attendance to participate in the special afternoon. Double Good is on a mission to do some good in the world by giving and spreading joy. Fifty percent of every dollar spent on Double Good products goes to helping others.
