Deborah Moore Appointed to Chicago Plan Commission

Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago (NHS) is pleased to announce that DeborahMoore, Director of Neighborhood Strategy has been appointed to the Chicago Plan Commission.
Deborah has had a distinguished career working in the community development and housing field for more than 25 years primarily serving the South and West side of Chicago. In her current role at NHS she promotes homeownership as a means to strengthening families and communities.
“I’m honored to serve on the Chicago Plan Commission to help align strategies for development so that all communities in our city can become neighborhoods of choice and opportunity,” said Deborah Moore.
Deborah was selected by Mayor Lori Lightfoot to provide her community development and housing expertise to promote the comprehensive growth and sustainability of the city and its neighborhoods. On September 10, 2019 the Committee on Zoning, Landmarks and Building Standards voted to approve her nomination.
