With more than 30 years of reporting experience, Darlene Hill has deep expertise in media relations, content creation and storytelling. Prior to joining Rise Strategy Group as the Executive Vice President of Communications, she served as lead anchor for NBC 4 TV in Columbus, Ohio, and spent 25 years covering stories here in Chicago as a reporter and anchor for FOX TV 32. You can also catch the Peabody and Emmy Award winning journalist weekdays on WVON 1690 3-6p with co-host Atiba Buchanan.

Darlene focuses on media relations, reputation management and community engagement. Throughout her career, she has developed relationships with key civic and government leaders. Darlene has interviewed notable individuals such as Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Rev. Jesse Jackson, George W. Bush, Bishop Jakes, Aretha Franklin, Taraji P. Henson, James Brown, Kem, Beverly Johnson and Simon Cowell.

Darlene is a graduate of Ohio State University and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is the proud mother of two adult children and a new grandmother.
