CRERAR Hosts Fall Fun Festival for Chatham Community

Crerar Memorial Presbyterian Church is hosting a NEW community event in Chatham! The Crerar Community FREE Fall Festival kicks off on Saturday, September 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the parking lot behind the church. This inaugural festival at 8100 S. Calumet includes activities for the entire family.

Crerar’s Minister Lawrence Brown notes the scripture Peter 4:10, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. It is rewarding to see the church family sharing their gifts through outreach programs and activities,” Brown commented.

Community activities during this season include the Thursday Night Movie and the Open Mic Talent program on Friday evenings.

Movie donation is $3.00 per person and the gates open at 7:30 pm

Though the festival is outdoors, protocols of the Cook County Department of Health will be followed recommending that unvaccinated people should wear face coverings both indoors and outdoors, and social distancing will be encouraged in lines and at concession booths.

The Crerar Fun Fall Festival wraps up the outdoor programming for 2021. Proceeds from these events support funding for community youth and adult outreach activities. Don’t forget to register for your Yard Sale Booth and/or the Talent Show, https://bit.ly/3zqqH6J. The Crerar church family looks forward to your joining the fun and festivities on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
