This weekend, the Chicago Police Department plans to conduct two DUI Strike Force patrols on the Dan Ryan Expressway from 31st St. to 111th St.
The first one will be Friday, June 13th, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Saturday. The second one will also start at 8 p.m., June 14th, and end at 4 a.m. June 15th.
This program puts police officers in areas to monitor for signs of impaired driving. The DUI Strike Force puts an emphasis on speed, alcohol related and safety belt violations.
