The Chicago Football Classics was the absolute bomb! Suite Hop with me, I could not resist running these photos!  Please enjoy my recap of the past few weeks.

Kicking it in the City Colleges of Chicago suite are: Juan Salgado, chancellor, City Colleges of Chicago; Dr. Shawn Jackson, president, Truman College; Kimberly Hollingsworth, president, Olive-Harvey College; Dr. Gregory Thomas, president, Kennedy-King College; and Dr. David Sanders, president, Malcom X College.

 

I enjoyed meeting ”Porsha Taylor” of Empire, kicking it at the Classics. Dori Collins, CPS; Carolyn Palmer; Ta’Rhonda Jones; Sheila Chalmers-Currin, Mayor of Matteson, Il; and Cassandra Matz, Trustee, Olympia Fields, Ill.

Congratulations to Lieutenant Michael Sneed, Kankakee Police Dept. He became the fourth African-American in the history of Kankakee to be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Lieutenant Sneed is a member of the Rho Gamma Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
