Congressman Danny K. Davis and Community Partners Kick-Off Weekend of ‘Black Fathers Matter’ and Census Events

Congressman Danny K. Davis (D-Il 7th District), in conjunction with a coalition of community organizations, will host the First Fatherhood Initiative Parade and Honor More Than 250 Fathers From all Walks of Life.

*Due to the Covid-19 pandemic quarantine, this event will utilize social distancing and face masks to keep our community safe.

For the past seven years, Congressman Davis and families have visited their loved ones in prison for Father’s Day. That could not be done this year.
