Chicago native son and Grammy Award-winning rapper Common will be in concert October 8 as part of R&B crooner Maxwell’s BLACKsummers’ night tour. The multi-leg tour supports Maxwell’s new album and comeback after a decade-long hiatus.
Common’s "Universal Mind Control" album, released last December, continues to enjoy chart-topping success. The South Side rapper/actor/songwriter/producer also starred alongside Christian Bale in "Terminator Salvation," and Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman in "Wanted." The concert will be held at the United Center.
