Kellye Howard and Lady of Laughter Ent. LLC present the 4th annual Funniest Female Comedy Competition Sunday at Jokes & Notes, 4641 S. King Dr.
Howard, who hails from the south suburbs and is currently filming for a new TV show on OWN network, will host the competition.
Eight contestants –– Billie Jean Jackson, Claire Swanson, Lindsay Adams, Lyssa Laird, Kate Streit, Megan Gailey, Patti Vasquez and Rebecca O’Neal –– will be competing for the Grand Prize: a photo shoot with Photos by Mike Jue, a complimentary fashion consultation with Dannie from Fashionable Addictions, a feature spot at Jokes & Notes, a career consultation with Jokes & Notes owner Mary Lindsey and $250 cash.
Doors open at 7 p.m.; show starts at 8 p.m.
