COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Columbus police are searching for a missing Columbus boy last seen Thursday at a family friend’s house on the city’s east side.
Erik Thompson Jr. is a 12-year-old African-American, 4 foot 11 inches tall and about 90 pounds. He has a short black afro-style haircut and medium complexion. He was wearing his Sherwood Middle School uniform of grey shirt and tan pants when last seen in the Livingston Avenue and Hamilton Road area.
Thompson’s father called police Friday to report his son had left the home of friends around 11 p.m. Thursday and had not come home since.
Police ask that anyone with information on the boy contact the Missing Person Unit.
