Collaboraction Kicks Off PEACEBOOK Festival in Englewood’s Hamilton Park

Social issue-driven theatre Collaboraction kicked off its PEACEBOOK Festival Friday and Saturday at Englewood’s Hamilton Park.
PEACEBOOK is a city-wide festival of theatre, dance, music, visual art, and spoken word focused on cultivating peace in Chicago. The festival will run for three consecutive weekends, heading to LaFollette Park in Austin and Clarendon Park in Uptown, respectively. By the festival’s end, over 200 artists from all areas of the city will be included.
PEACEBOOK is a part of the Chicago Park District’s Night Out in the Parks series, which is now in its fourth year. It is also funded in part by The Goodman Theatre and the NEA. Next PEACEBOOK performances:
