With the various musical chairs being played at Chicago urban radio stations, this latest move was not a surprise as former morning radio personality and comedian, Tony Sculfield will join the on-air line-up on WSRBÂ Soul 106.3. Crawford Broadcasting recently announced the release of radio veteran, Ramone Wade aka Ramonski Luv from the evening slot two weeks ago.
Sculfield will begin on June 15th taking over Monday from 6pm-10pm. A former host of WGCI FM’s Morning Riot Show, Â he was released along with co-host Nina Chantele in November 2014 with comedian Leon Rogers remaining on the air. Never losing a step, Sculfield continued to make guest appearances on Windy City Live and performing live at comedy clubs–remaining in touch with fans.
When one door closes, another door is sure to open. We look forward to hearing Sculfield on Soul 106.3 FM. In the latest Nielsen Audio Survey, WSRB is currently in 30th place for evenings. Let the rating games begin.
