Wednesday, December 2, 2020, 100 Black Men of Chicago continued their 22nd annual toy drive and holiday party virtually. Opening to musician Sam Trump’s soulful sounds, the virtual event was a night of music and fun. The event was aimed at assisting the less fortunate during the holiday season.

Two of Chicago’s prolific DJs, DJ Mark “Flava” Fuller and DJ Dizzy’s, took the event to the next level with their old school vs. new school music battle by playing a mixture of hip-hop and house music. Both DJs undoubtedly got attendees out of their seats to shake their groove thang as they played music from the ’90s to the earlier part of the 2000s.

Although COVID-19 halted all public gatherings. 100 Black Men of Chicago still delivered on an epic event. Enjoyable from the comforts of your home. This year’s fundraiser, sponsored by various businesses throughout the Chicagoland area, strived to raised 10k through donations.

Funds raised will go towards gifts and personal necessities for women and children living in homeless shelters and community outreach facilities. It’s an act of kindness to make the holiday season brighter for children and families experiencing hardship.
