National Urban League President Marc Morial spoke Tuesday at the Chicago Urban League’s annual luncheon Summit 2011: Accelerating the Economic Recovery, at the Hilton Chicago hotel. Morial talked about the Urban League’s efforts, in Chicago and nationally, in job creation and workforce investment, Morial detailed the National Urban League’s Jobs Rebuild America 12-point plan that, among other points, calls for the creation of 100 urban jobs academies and restoration of the summer youth jobs program.
