A Chicago man is due in bond court after being charged with stabbing two people, one of them fatally, during a card game.

Chicago police say 44-year-old Delvin Jackson will appear in bond court Sunday. He’s charged with first-degree murder and aggravated battery in Friday’s attack.

Police say Jackson stabbed 39-year-old Latonya Davis in the neck. She died at an area hospital.

The second victim, an unidentified 22-year-old man, was stabbed and hit in the face, head and arm. He was treated and released from a hospital.

Police say the three argued while playing cards inside an apartment on the city’s South Side.

Jackson allegedly fled on foot but was located hiding in bushes by a police helicopter equipped with an infrared camera.
