Chicago Lakeside to Premiere Obama Library Presidential Bid

July 8, 2014 (CHICAGO) – McCaffery Interests will host a community meeting at 6:00 p.m. on July 10 at the Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Paideia Academy with Alderman Natashia Holmes (7th Ward) and Alderman John Pope (10th Ward) to premiere a video of the Chicago Lakeside bid for the Barack Obama Presidential Library. Following the video screening, a representative from McCaffery Interests, along with the two aldermen, will be available for a question and answer session on the proposed library as well as the Lakeside development itself.
Chicago Lakeside Development is a joint venture between United States Steel Corporation and McCaffery Interests, Inc. The 589-acre development sits on the former U. S. Steel South Works site located on Chicago’s southeast lakefront. With both public and private support, Chicago Lakeside is poised to revolutionize 21st century urban living and rebuild a community that was once one of Chicago’s strongest economic engines.
