Chicago Defender congratulates Rhomania Torch Award winners

Executive Director of Finance for the Chicago Defender, Carol Bell, received the Rhomania Torch Award for Communication from the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority – Delta Sigma Chicago Alumnae Chapter

Executive Director of Finance for the Chicago Defender, Carol Bell, received the Rhomania Torch Award for Communication from the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority – Delta Sigma Chicago Alumnae Chapter.

The sorority also awarded scholarships to Lauren Bradley of Illinois State University, Larry Fairchild of Oak Park & River Forest High School and Mercedes Talbert-Williams of King College Prep High School during the “Everything That Blings” ceremony Saturday at Chateau Del Mar in southwest suburban Hickory Hills.
