CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago Housing Authority wants to hear from city residents about the future of its sweeping overhaul plan.
The agency is launching a web site to gather input on what it’s calling the Plan for Transformation 2.0.
The CHA began the Plan for Transformation in 2000, demolishing or rehabbing dozens of run-down buildings and relocating thousands of residents.
The current plan is set to be finished in 2015, but the CHA said in a release Saturday that it wants to "recalibrate" the program.
In addition to the web site, four input sessions exclusively for CHA residents will be held in the coming weeks.
A spokeswoman says the CHA wants to gather feedback about what has worked well and what needs to be tweaked moving forward.
