Camelot Illinois today announced it is accepting applications for a new grant program available to non-profit organizations operating in the State of Illinois.
The grants will typically range from $5,000 to $25,000+ and will be used to fund programs that 1) foster educational opportunities, 2) support technology initiatives or 3) promote community and neighborhood development.
“At Camelot Illinois, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve. We strive to be a good corporate citizen and are committed to operating our business in a socially responsible way,” said Camelot Illinois General Manager Colin Hadden. “As a new Illinois company, we are proud to launch this grant program to help fund non-profit initiatives that benefit communities across the State.”
To be eligible for the Camelot Illinois Grant Program, an entity must be a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the State of Illinois for at least 5 years, be in good standing with the State of Illinois and in compliance with Illinois law, complete a written grant application and be willing to sign a grant agreement with Camelot Illinois.
Applications are currently being accepted and the first grant review period will begin in October 2019. Annual grant reviews will take place in January, April, July and October. Camelot Illinois intends to notify all grantees if they have received an award approximately 4-5 weeks after the end of each grant review period. Total funding for the initial grant program for Fiscal Year 2020 is $150,000.
