Brian Foster’s journey reflects a deep commitment to both professional excellence and community service. Hailing from Chicago’s Southside and educated at Whitney M. Young High School and Illinois State University, Brian’s academic and geographical roots are firmly entrenched in his hometown.
Throughout his career, Brian has navigated diverse landscapes, from corporate communication roles at industry giants like Koenig & Strey and Zipcar to meaningful engagements with renowned nonprofit organizations such as The Ounce of Prevention Fund, Urban Gateways, and Community Renewal Society. His current roles as the Managing Director of External Affairs and Communications for City Year Chicago and the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for HT23 Growers underscore his ability to bridge sectors and drive impactful change.
However, Brian’s true passion lies in community service. He actively participates in organizations like Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., the 100 Black Men of Chicago, and the Chicago Assembly, channeling his energy into uplifting initiatives that empower and support his community.
