A six-year-old boy died Saturday of injuries sustained after a garage door fell on him earlier that day, police said. Dijion Sanders went outside to play with his brother shortly before 9 p.m. in the 9200 block of South Saginaw Avenue. The brother went back inside the home minutes later to alert their mother that the door fell onto the boy’s back, police said. He was taken to the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said.
