Bobbi Kristina Brown’s first cousin, Jerod Wallace Brown-Carter, was arrested in Atlanta after being pulled over by Atlanta police at approximately 2 a.m.
Jerod Brown, as you recall, has been a prominent fixture in the local and national news recently for his attempts to clear Nick Gordon’s name of any wrongdoing in the near drowning of his “wife” Bobbi Kristina. He also aided Gordon in distributing free t-shirts bearing Bobbi Kristina’s likeness. He has been embroiled in a inter-family feud with Bobby Brown and others and, finally, he claimed that Whitney Houston was murdered.
He has been a busy man as of late.
Jerod Brown was arrested early Monday during a routine traffic stop on the north side of the city. As reported, police pulled over Brown after they detected a pungent odor of marijuana wafting out of his GMC Yukon Denali on Howell Mill Road.
When the officer inquired as to the presence of any illicit substances in the car, Jerod Brown denied it, saying “No, but we just came from the studio,” he reportedly retorted, according to WXIA.
Jerod Brown also allegedly told the officer that he had a Georgia license, but didn’t have it on him. He said his name was Jahraim Wallace Reid. Officers later determined that his name was actually Jarod Wallace Brown-Carter, that he was not licensed and that he had an outstanding warrant out of Gwinnett County.
Brown was arrested on charges of driving while unlicensed and false representations to police.
