Gospel recording artists Cece Winans and J. Moss were in town Saturday as part of the latest stop on McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour, a nine-city, soul-stirring feast for the sprit rooted in contemporary gospel music. The concert, held at Christ Universal Temple church, marked the third year for the event.
The concert was sponsored locally by the Black McDonald’s Operators Association of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana.
Moss, a young, Detroit native, is making his mark and rising fast on the contemporary gospel scene.
Both Winans (a multi-award winning gospel singer who hails from the famed Winans family) and Moss are newcomers to the tour.
