It’s that time again! The Black Harvest Film Festival runs now through Sept. 3 at different venues around Chicago.
The 21st annual Black Harvest Film Festival explores the Black experience in the U.S. and internationally. The festival features emerging and seasoned filmmakers and brings Chicago filmmakers to the forefront of the largest and longest-running festival telling the black experience.
The event also features a series of events for young filmmakers and free screenings at local libraries around the city. On closing night Sept. 3, Kiara C. Jones with Christmas Wedding Baby, her romantic comedy about love, rivalry and sisterhood.
