Bishop David Todd Whittley is the youngest son of Elder Robert Whittley Sr. and Supervisor Mother Dr. LuVonia Whittley, who instilled in him the importance of honoring God, loving family, and serving in ministry. Bishop Whittley has been married for 26 years to Dr. Chandra Whittley. They are the proud parents of David & Sydney. Bishop Whittley is a product of Roosevelt University, with post studies at C.H. Mason Theological Seminary, Trinity Christian College, and Moody Bible Institute.
Following 15 years in the banking industry, David and Dr. Chandra Whittley founded Kingdom Financial, Inc., a faith-based consulting firm which secured over $20 million dollars in loans for clients thru out the Midwest Region.
In August 2004, at the passing of his grandfather – Bishop Bennie Allison, then Elder David Todd Whittley was appointed to serve as Pastor of the historic Corinthian Temple Church of God in Christ.
In the area of community leadership & civic engagement, Bishop Whittley serves as President, United for Better Living and Chairman, The C.A.R.E. Project. He is a Commissioner for the Chicago Public Building Commission (PBC), Member, Clergy Advisory Council, Congressman Danny K. Davis, Board Member, RUSH Alive Faith Network and Board Member, Westside Community Development Corporation.
