Is Beyonce sending us a cryptic message that’s not so cryptic or is she just messing with our heads to keep her on our minds?
That’s what every curious social media active person is agonizing over after she posted a photo on Instagram of herself on Sunday.
The photo is without words because a picture can say a thousand words right? So is that what Beyonce was telling us when she posted the caption-less picture shows Mrs. Carter on the beach, buried in sand. The sand body sculpture shows a mound piled on her stomach and breasts leading us to think of a pregnant woman. So is she or is she not is the question?
If she is and she hasn’t spoken about it directly, she certainly has created a stir, another masterful stroke for Mrs. Carter. She really knows how to keep us thinking about her and more impotrtantly, talking about her.
It just proves that she didn’t hit the top as the highest earning artist in 2014 by accident. According to Forbes Magazine, “In 2013, Beyoncé had one of her best years in recent memory, pulling in $53 million. How did she follow the feat? By more than doubling that total in 2014. The superstar singer enjoyed the biggest year of her career, earning $115 million—making her the top-earning woman in the music business.” Beyonce is a master marketing and promoter of her brand and the recent instgram photo proves that she’s on top of her game.
She revealed her first pregnancy at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards by stripping off her blazer at the end of her performance to show off her baby bump.
Since then, the Internet and entertainment media has been obsessed with searching for clues to her next pregnancy. Gawker published a lengthy post in December citing evidence that Beyonce has been pregnant for months. Back in September, Jay Z changed the lyrics of his song “Beach Is Better” during the couple’s Paris concert from their On the Run tour, rapping “Cause she pregnant with another one,” but the couple never addressed the rumors that followed.
What we know for sure is that we will know when Beyonce is ready for us to know.
