The Chicago Bears posted a sizzle reel of quarterback Justin Fields on X on Saturday, leaving many fans wondering, “Is this a sign they’re keeping him?” Or, “Was it a farewell, as in they are trading him and drafting a new quarterback?”

No one truly knows, but given the speculation around his future with the team, the timing of the post couldn’t have been stranger.

The video was posted a day after Bears legend Brian Urlacher appeared on a CBS Radio Show and called for his old team to trade Fields and draft USC quarterback Caleb Williams.

Whatever the case, the Fields tribute video is likely just that: appreciation for a guy who, as of right now, is the face of the franchise. Nothing more, nothing less.

Only time will reveal the team’s true intentions.

The NFL Draft is still 88 days away, and the Bears will be doing its due diligence on the best plan moving forward, whether that includes Fields or not.

Still, the video did nothing but send fans off in a tizzy anyway.
