Another One?! Missing Flight, Air Algierie With 110 Aboard, Crashes En Route to Algiers

An Algerian airliner that took off from from Burkina Faso to Algeria disappeared from radar early Thursday, the official Algerian news agency said.
An unnamed Algerian aviation official said Air Algerie flight has crashed with 110 people aboard, but did not give details of where it went down or what caused the disaster.
“I can confirm that it has crashed,” the official told Reuters news service.
Air Algerie has yet to confirm that the flight crashed.
Algeria’s national airline lost track of the plane 50 minutes after it took off from Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, making it the second major episode of lost flight in a week.
It was on its way to Algiers, Algeria’s capital, and was last heard from at 1:55 a.m. GMT when it was over Mali.
