Alderman Cardenas Hosts Annual Back to School Health Fair; 

Alderman George Cardenas, 12th Ward, will provide school physicals, immunizations, haircuts, school supplies and more for over 400 students at the Annual 12th Ward Back to School Health Fair. The Back to School Health Fair is a family-friendly event, and is open to all 12th Ward residents.

 “The price of school supplies remains a challenge for low-income families. Recognizing the burden, our office, with the support of the local business community steps in to provide resources to hundreds of families each year.  Our goal is to ensure that every child in the 12th Ward returns to school equipped for success,” said Alderman Cardenas.

The Back to School Fair will offer information and resources from over 40 organizations and agencies. Supplies will be distributed on a first-come basis. All services are free of charge and registration is not required.
