Christopher Griffin is the school’s first Posse Scholar. The Posse Foundation identifies public high school students with extraordinary academic and leadership potential that may be overlooked by traditional college selection processes.

Officials at Fenger High School recently announced that one of its own has garnered a distinguishing honor.

Christopher Griffin is the school’s first Posse Scholar. The Posse Foundation identifies public high school students with extraordinary academic and leadership potential that may be overlooked by traditional college selection processes. The universities that partner with The Posse Foundation award Posse Scholars a four-year, full-tuition leadership scholarship. These students attend the foundation’s top-tier university partners in supportive, multicultural teams of 10 students called Posses. Griffin will be attending DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana as a Posse Scholar on a four-year, full-tuition leadership scholarship. He plans to major in computer scienc, pursuing a career in engineering.
