Belvedere Vodka, the original super-premium vodka, celebrated its newest campaign in Chicago with GRAMMY-nominated musician, actor, and activist Janelle Monáe, to spread their shared vision of “A Beautiful Future” with the Windy City’s most influential identities.

The narrative for the “A Beautiful Future” themed, immersive dinner took built on the namesake program which kicked off last year when Belvedere and Monae hosted a brunch for Monae’s grassroots movement, Fem the Future, a movement dedicated to advancing awareness and opportunities for women and those who identify as women through music, arts, mentorship and education. In a future-forward manner, Janelle hosted an esteemed crowd of guests while honoring Chicago hometown heroes, Scheherazade Tillet (Co-founder and Executive Director, A Long Walk Home), LaForce Baker (Founder and CEO, Moon Meals), Nikki Roberson(Fundraising Director and Community Outreach, Kicks 4 the City), and finally Amanda Williams (Visual artist and architect, aw Studio) for their Chicago community contributions – all local leaders whom share Belvedere and Janelle’s shared vison of a future where natural character, integrity, diversity and self-expression are celebrated.

Joining Belvedere and Monáe in toasting to “A Beautiful Future” in Chicago included DJ Rae Chardonnay, Singer Jamila Woods, and Chicago LGBT Hall of Fame Inductee and Film Producer Tracy Baim.

It was a music-driven, technology enhanced evening that played upon the pillars of the experiential program through creativity, collaboration and community.

Tastemakers, trendsetters and celebrity friends of Janelle Monáe were welcomed with an exclusive red carpet entry, then encouraged to sit at an immersive table where they will share their experiences, lift their voices and participate in the dialog of what a beautiful future means to them through the lens of diversity, equality and self-expression. Throughout the evening key leaders who are making an impact in the arts, media, business and social justice community were honored with charitable donations on behalf of Belvedere Vodka by Janelle herself.

Belvedere and Monáe share an understanding of the importance of authenticity, craftsmanship and integrity as key pillars of success in business. Belvedere, which translates to “a place from which one sees beauty,” was created by a collective of determined and optimistic individuals at the fall of the communist era in Poland, who have since worked tirelessly to create a vodka of taste and character. Meanwhile, Monáe, whose own artistic journey reflects a similar determination, leads the multi-faceted collective of artists at Wondaland, which features a breadth of voices, styles, and figures coming together to revolutionize the future of music, arts and culture.
